The United States was unjustified in dropping atomic bombs on Japan. After the bombing Nagasaki and Hiroshima were destroyed. The bombings killed many
innocent civilians who took no part in their governments attack on Pearl
Harbor.
WWII was already a bloody war without what was soon to come. The allied powers were planning to invade Japan, which would cause not only casualties to the American lives, but mostly to the Japanese lives. Although the Japanese were not going to surrender, the allies still went in for the invasion of Japan, and because we knew the Japanese were not going to surrender we had to figure out a way that would take down Japan. That way was by dropping two atomic bombs on Japan instead of civilian invasion because there would be more casualties to Americans lives. The fact was that by bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki it would cost less and it would save many American lives. Also it would be a revenge for Pearl Harbor. By doing this we would cause the death of many innocent Japanese civilians and long lasting health issues.
